CONTEST RULES & REGULATIONS
Draw on the Place des Arts Website
1. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
To participate in the “Draw on the Place des Arts Website” contest, participants must visit the Jeunesse de la Place des Arts website at www.laplacedesarts.com/jeunesse and submit a drawing based on the theme provided. The participant’s parents or guardians must send the drawing using the online tool and provide the participant’s first and last name, age and e-mail address. To be valid, all drawings must be received before 2 p.m. (EST) on the day of each draw.
The drawings will become the property of Société de la Place des Arts de Montréal and will not be returned to the participants. The participant recognizes that he or she is the author of the drawing submitted, that it is an original drawing and that it is free of any rights. By participating in this contest, participants release their rights and relinquish any moral rights on the drawing. Participants recognize that Société de la Place des Arts de Montréal may use the drawing, in part or in full, within any type of medium, without compensation, unless otherwise provided for by an agreement to that effect that is binding on Société de la Place des Arts de Montréal.
Chances of winning a prize are directly related to the number of drawings received.
No purchase required.
2. TERMS OF ELIGIBILITY
Participants must live in Canada, be aged 13 or under on the date on which they participate in the contest and obtain the consent of a parent or guardian, if required (the words “participant,” “winner,” and “first name/last name” refer to the “parent or guardian” of that person). Children of the directors, executives and employees of Société de la Place des Arts de Montréal and CAP Production, including their affiliated companies and agencies, as well as the children of their immediate family (mother-father, brother-sister, son-daughter) and of people living with them are not eligible to participate in the contest.
3. ALLOCATION OF PRIZES
On the first business day of each month, a random draw will be held at Société de la Place des Arts. The draw will include all the drawings received since the beginning of the contest. The first participant whose drawing is chosen in each draw will be declared winner of the prize for that period.
Each participant whose name is drawn will be notified, via e-mail, within five (5) days following the draw and must claim his or her prize in accordance with the guidelines of Société de la Place des Arts de Montréal within a maximum of fourteen (14) days as of the date of notification. If the form (outlined in Paragraph 5.3 of these Rules & Regulations) is not returned to Société de la Place des Arts by the participant within this time period, it will be assumed that the participant whose name was drawn has relinquished his or her prize and a new draw will be held.
